This site is a collection of reflections shaped by more than four decades of Budo practice, and over thirty-five years of Aikido training.

The perspective presented here is rooted in the lineage of Nishio Sensei and Shishiya Sensei, where Aikido is understood not as a fighting art, but as an art of peace – concerned with leading, guiding, and the creation of harmony between people.

I write these notes as an attempt to articulate what this practice has taught me, and how that understanding continues to evolve.

These notes are not written to convince, compare or compete but to clarify and articulate an understanding that has grown through long-term practice.
